Art doesn’t have to be beautiful and we do not have to be good at it. I believe that Art is for everyone. It is the crux of resilience as a sentient species. We use art to relate and share with each other. As an educator my focus is to empower folks with creativity and with choices. My practice is trauma informed and inclusive. My experience has taught me that in order to grow we need to supported to feel safe.
